We are delighted to announce that Pablo Veron will be back in London this
July for another series of SPECIAL WORKSHOPS. Due to the tremendous demand
for and the warm reception to Pablo's workshops earlier this year, he is
trying to include London in his schedule as many times as possible.

Availability is limited to 20 couples per workshop. Workshops no suitable for beginners. No need to bring a partner but it is recommended to come in couples to take full advantage of workshops.
THE WORKSHOPS
This set of workshops is devised as a course with the aim of introducing
as many aspects of Pablo’s dancing as possible in a continuous, coherent
and comprehensive way. The workshops will be focused on general tango technique,
its application and musicality. All workshops will be fast moving and challenging
so come prepared for a good tango workout!
SATURDAY 19 July

Tango Intermediate
Tools for Improvisation
This workshop will be focused on the art of improvisation. Elements such
as connection, phrasing, and dynamics will be studied in the context of
some classic tango moves. Embellishment ideas will also be introduced.
This workshop is suitable for dancers with 1-3 years of dance experience.

All Levels but Beginners
Tango Vals
This workshop will be dedicated to the differences between Tango and Vals.
Rhythmical games and special Vals figures will be introduce.
SUNDAY 20 July

Tango Intermediate/Advanced
Advanced Sequencing Old School Style
This is a special workshop designed to challenge experience dancers. Pablo
will first introduce an advanced sequence containing many different ideas.
The sequence will then be cut up and its parts scrutinized.
This Workshop is suitable to dancers with over 3 years of dance experience.

Tango Advanced
Show Figures for Fun
Utilizing the same method as in the INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED workshop Pablo
will use this course to work on show sequences introducing some of his more
innovative ideas and moves.
This workshop is suitable to dancers with over 5 years of experience.

All Levels but Beginners
Milonga Lisa y Con Traspie
This workshop will be dedicated to the differences between Milonga Lisa
and Traspie. Rhythmical games, and special Milonga figures will also be
introduced.
This workshop is suitable to dancers with over 1 year of dance experience.

ABOUT PABLO VERON
PABLO VERON is the creator of a unique style of tango that
won him the respect of dancers of all generations. Pablo’s distinguish career
spans over two decades and includes, among many others, performances in
the show Tango Argentino (1998). His film credits include a leading role
in The Tango Lesson, and performances in The Man Who Cried, The Cup, and
Assassination Tango.
He was also the choreographer and main lead of Tanghost, a play produce
by Oslo’s National Theatre, Norway. PABLO recently feature as the choreographers
and the main dancer in the English National Opera’s production of Carmen
at the Coliseum Theatre in London. Proud to share his talent and experience,
Pablo continues to teach tango all over the world.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Kara Wenham graduated with a BFA in Theatre/Acting from Emerson College,
Boston, MA. She studied and worked both as a dancer (modern and jazz)
and an actress in Boston and Chicago before she moved to Buenos Aires
to dedicate herself to tango.
As a dancer, Kara moves with great presence and dynamic. Drawing from the roots of tango’s past, she is infusing traditional elements with a more contemporary feel, and is expanding the boundaries of expression in tango.
WORKSHOPS
As a teacher Kara has developed a unique and codified methodology.
With a hands-on approach, a meticulous eye for detail, and a love for Tango
that is
contagious, Kara has developed a pedagogy that is designed to empower the
student by giving them tools needed for a solid technique, connection, improvisation,
musicality, and development of a personal style. She currently lives in
Buenos Aires and teaches well-attended classes at Tango Brujo. She has also
given workshops and participated in festivals in Buenos Aires, Asia, Europe
and the United States.
This time Kara will be leading two special workshops dedicated
to Followers Technique. The workshops are designed to explore aspects of
women technique that are equally important to both leaders and followers
so guys these ones are for you too!
